Tropically Hoppy. Light, yet Full-Bodied. Bright and Citrusy. Word. The magical, mystical 12th of Never is a blend of Old and New School hops that play bright citrus, rich coconut, and papaya-esque flavors, all on a solid stage of English puffed wheat. Tropically hoppy. Light, yet full-bodied. Bright and citrusy. The 12th of Never Ale is everything we’ve learned about making hop-forward beer expressed in a moderate voice. Pale, cold, slightly alcoholic and bitter. It’s all we know.

These 568ml cans are quite tall. Pours a slightly hazed, light golden colour with a foamy off-white cap and loads of fluffy foam lacing. Mild citrus aromas with piney notes, apples, coconut water and honey. Flavours of these hoppy notes again (citrus, pine). A blend of grass and tropical fruits, kind of. Not a bad American Pale Ale, but not one I would buy another 4-pack of this.

Picked up a 4 pack of 568ml tall cans at LCBO. Pours a huge foamy bubbly white head and has a pale yellowish golden appearance. Big thick sticky lacing. Aromas of bready malts, wheaty and grassy notes. Flavours are somewhat citrusy, a bit faint, also some pine and grassy notes. Excessive carbonation. Dry mouthfeel.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a thick and rather persistent porcelain head. Aroma offers hoppy and citrus tones. Flavor is on the wan side, hoppy and fruity but not particularly robust. Mouthfeel features typical body and fizz. Nothing special, but good for a party.

A nice tropically pale ale...almost like a session. Lower on malt with a lighter feel. Medium hops. Good for any time of the day or year-round. Had to sample a few cans all in one night, but curious to get this again and space them out more to get a better review.
