Christmas seasonal, 500 ml cool swingtop bottle. Aroma like an average lager, rather weak. Golden colour, good to moderate head. Flavour is well balanced with a herbal character, moderate sweetness and decent hops. Flavour and aftertaste is better than the average lager, but this is definitely not what I want for CHRISTMAS! As a standard lager it passes the test, as a Christmas beer it fails!

500 ml swing-top bottle from Ambrosetti (Berlin). Clear pour of medium gold and a creamy white head; only a finger's worth but still resilient. Malty aroma, but nothing more. Mouthfeel smooth but thinner than it should've been. Flavour just okay, I guess, mostly malt with a suggestion of spices. Too much caramel at the finish. Average at best.

Clear darker yellow with quickly dissapearing white foam head. Aroma is malty pilsener, taste is sweet malt beer like. Bit sparkling, high carbonated. Short aftertaste, malt. (Velp 20121)

I found this to be a pretty ordinary beer. Bright golden colour, decent head, aroma is malt and hops. Taste is wicked smooth, almost velvety. Not much going on but after drinking a bunch of IPAs I think my palate was a bit distorted. Plain but satisfying.

clear golden-amber colour with a fine white foam; solid grassy aroma; oily mouthfeel, some tart bitterness, medium malt body, dry bitter herbal finish - quite tasty

Copper coloured, not much for a head. Malts in hay in aroma along with some flowery and fruity hints. Strong hoppy flavour. Good for oktoberfest, but I wonder what the weihnacht (Christmas) does in the name?

fine aroma and decent golden colour with a medium head the aroma of this beer is about the only thing it has going for itself - during 25 minutes 6-8 sips from the glass still only left a fraction of the aroma in the mouth as the taste was very weak. unfortunate since the initial experience was quite positive
