A very good American draught saison. A nice hazy golden yellow pour with a thin white head. A lot of funky earth tones going on here, some spices and grain. The flavour is quite tart with light fruits and yeast. I enjoy it.

Poured a golden color, slight amber hues, mostly golden yellow. The head was nice, lacing good. The aroma was nice citrus, bready, slightly floral. The flavor was wonderful, refreshing bready, citrus, peppery, other fruity aspects. Mouthfeel light to moderate for the style. The bready peppery combo was excellent for the summertime, despite this not being as complex and over the top spicey like a Fantome, just a great lawnmowing beer for those that want good stuff even for such tasks / activity. Two thumbs up here, really enjoyable.

07.16.05 Tap at BCTC. I’m so gald I got a chance to sample the Iron Hill stuff. Pale and hazed gold-yellow, fizzy white head fades. Holiday spices, might be nice to marinate some pork. Citrus, spruce. Dry but not much tartness. Nice and quenching.
09.30.05 Re-rate at GABF. Notice a weedier quality that I didn’t quite get at BCTC (or it was just so weedy in that field I didn’t pick it up). Seemed better rounded.

A yellow/orange appearance. A nice sour and citrus aroma. The flavor consists of peaches, pears, almonds?, and orange. A good musky backdrop to it all. A rather tame Saison as they only wanted to serve them in 20oz glasses but its still good.

I swiped this one from Clash's sampler in Wilmington. Purfumy, hoppy, a little cheesey. Golden brown color with a little lacing. Definitely easy to drink.

Poured a hazy, orange color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of orange citrus, yeast, some bandage as well. Taste of orange peel, some vanilla, dry, yeasty finish. No alcohol noticed at all.
