This is a traditional German helles lager, the everyday drinking beer of the people of Bavaria. Don't let the light color fool you. It has a distinct malt flavor up-front, followed by the spicy flavor of Saaz hops. Crisp and clean, this beer is a favorite of many

This is their most prized beer?? Poured a light light yellow color. Aroma was grassy as was the flavor. Not a great lager, would agree with doulos much like Yuengling.

I had the Iron Hill Lodestone Lager at the Newark, DE location. It was your basic lager better than Yuengling but nothing great. It poured a deep golden color. It had a slightly creamy start with a hoppy finish. Not bad.

There isn't much to say about this. According to the waittress, this is their "most award winning beer" at Iron Hill. That seems either hard to believe or disappointing. The taste was very similar to a Yuengling lager, but was smoother and less bitter. A good lager, but very nonremarkable.

Part of the sampler. And one of the weaker ones. Not much to say except this was clear yellow in apperance and it had a grassy malty taste. Something to toss to the barflys chowing down on wings. If you are there for the beer, look for the roads less traveled.

Don't remember this one too well, but it was on a sampler of about 6 beers I had at Iron Hill with dinner. Fairly standard medium bodied lager but with decent flavor and malt/hop balance. A hearty summer / fall choice.

I had this fresh off a keg at a festival. Preety flavorful. Light in color. Hoppy and malty. Well balanced. Crisp and clean. Very good.
