Had @ the Newark DE. pub. Medium sized offwhite head, decent retention and lace. Clear amber/copper colored brew, nice appearence. Grainy nose, balanced well with the hops, both being fairly subdued. Medium body, good carbonation. Light toasty malt flavors with an earthy/fruity hop flavor. Finish is dry, earthy. A fair pale ale.

Yike 3 in a row average beers. Poured a golden color with okay head good lacing. Aroma was weak little hoppyness. Flavor was of hops with nice blend of malts not as caramely as i thought it would be from the aroma.

Iron Hill Anvil Ale poured a copper colored body with a small white head. It had a slightly floral aroma. It had a crisp, slightly bitter taste. Basically this seemed like an average beer.

This is pretty boring stuff. A malty aroma with a copper appearance. Pretty thin with some raspberries and orange. A decent session ale but nothing special.

This was a pretty good ale. A little lacking in the head department, but was still a good looking beer. A really nice flowery, hoppy aroma, but not overdone in the hops department made this a nice, well-rounded beer. A solid offering. I could drink these one after another.

A slightly above average beer from a local brew pub (although a "flagship" beer, I find it overrated). Pretty standard and likeable, although not much stands out. Good malty and hoppy blend that you can't find much fault in - maybe a tad bitter with a touch of citrus.

This beer is brewed in the style of an English bitter. I had it at the brewery. It had good hops taste and was very drinkable.

Poured brownish golden color with a white head and nice lacing. Grainy hop aroma, reminded me of the signature weyerbacher aroma. A distinction I can not state exactly, but it is what most Weyerbacher beers smell like. Nice light hoppy taste. Reminded me more of a bitter, and did not include the caramel malt that I usually find in an EPA.

I've had this a couple times with dinner at the brewpub. I can't remember anything specifically about it but I always enjoyed it.
