Pours a crystal clear light amber with no head to think of. Very light carbonation. Aroma is lightly malted with a nice spice hint to it. Taste is very lightly sour with a malted hint. One thing that really hit me at the end was the metallic taste, it was quite potent but lightens up as you drink. Not bad.

4 month old bottle (still hope to land a fresher one) but it's hard to tell if the hops are subdued to to age or the style. GDs signature malt bill is there, which is always nice, though this is a little more maltcentric than i'd prefer. some grapefruit and bitter hops make an appearance, though, and the feel which started thin grew lively. not bad, but not great.

Visited the Great Divide brewery on a recent trip to Denver and was really impressed. This beer pours a copper color with a nice thick white head. Great lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus, and toasted nuts. Flavor is citrus, hops, with a little bit of piney bittness. Good stuff!

A clear golden colored ale. Showcases the bubbles rising in the glass. Moderate frothy white head. But it disappears too quickly. Not much lacing, in fact, none left behind. The nose is faint. Some sweetness, some citrus. Light to moderate body. Some smoothness and lots of carbonation. The taste is wheaty with some faint citrus. Drinkable. Not noteworthy.

A contender - seriously. The flavor is what really got me - not too hoppy with just enough maltiness. This is THE requisite summertime beer. As a matter of fact, it's going quite well with a brat right now and will surely go equally as well with a rib later. Cheers!

If I could land this beer on a regular basis, I could see this one being stocked all the freakin’ time. A top notch Pale Ale from a brewery that I’m always excited to have. The two bottles of this stuff I had was gone all too quickly, but it left a nice impression.
The aroma has an incredible fruity profile that I associate with summer (peaches, apricots, pineapples), slightly floral with nice malt support. Flavor had more of the incredible peach/pineapple combo, a clean malt profile with a light toast note. Just really refreshing, and maybe it was one of those "right beer at the right moment" kinda things. But they were both really good. -

here's the clicker, no one will blame ya - change the channel on this beer ... smells of a cereal box .. . lots of foam without a purpose .. . intensely bland!!! .. . not really enjoyable .. muddled and garbled, like a major cleft lip talking into a shell while chewing on cellulose .. .

Pour is golden with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet malts with some floral hops. Taste is sweet and bitter at the same time--earthy hop bitterness balances out the sweet malts. A good representation of the style but not overly special. For an English pale ale, I'd rather have a Summit EPA.

This a good pale ale. Nothing to Fancy but it taste good. Smells of hops, some pine and a hint of citrus. Pours Reddish yellow with a good amount of head that lasted. One thing is for sure.. Great Divide knows how to carbonate their beers!! Good Crisp finish with a nice hop profile for taste.

On tap, direct from the source at the Great Divide tap room. This poured a deep orange color with reddish hilights. Solid white head that lasted nicely. Good hoppy flavor and aroma. The taste was a good blend of malty and hops. This seemed was an enjoyable pale ale. Smooth, easy to drink, good sessional. Not a huge hop bomb - but isn't meant to be. Good all around.
