Bright, bold, and hoppy...Independence Pale Ale is a true Texas Pale Ale. Brewed with the finest two-row barley and Pacific Northwest hops, and then dry-hopped with generous quantities of Cascade and Saaz hops, Independence Pale Ale has a distinctive citrus aroma and clean, hoppy finish.

Fresh honey, light pinecone aromas .. . low medium foam, some sparse lacing .. " "fuck you" ..not now, i'm eatin crackers" -billy .. . leaves a nice light hop aftertaste .. . clean .. . a very mellowed out pale, not as aggressive as most american pales but the flavour and mouth make this a good Texan treat .. would love to get this on cask! . .

Aroma is decent with floral attributes, Apperance is a deep, hazy copper body with average carbonation and a small white cap. Flavor was a little disappointing in that there was only bitterness, (like old hops) the aftertaste softened a little with some hop and sweet malt tones at the very end. Overall it was o.k. but not great, i will try it again.

Poured golden yellow, nice head and lacing. Some mild sweetness from caramel malts and a mild hoppiness, citrus and floral. Boring, but that's what most pale ales are.

Poured a hazy orange color with a small, white film, that left little to no lacing. Aroma of caramel malts, diactyl, some pine, citrus fruits, floral hops, and tin. Taste of tart citrus, some butterscotch, toffee, and a low bitterness. Maybe I am more sensitive to diactyl than I originally thought.
