Purchased in a crowler from the brewpub. Pours an opaque dark brown/black color into a snifter. Small mocha colored head the slowly dissipates. This beer is a lactose bomb. It jumps out as it is released from the crowler. Other aromas include milk chocolate, vanilla and roasted malt. Flavors follow the aroma. Long lasting lactose taste with malted milk balls, roasted malt and vanilla. Finishes on the sweet side with a bit of alcohol. A pretty good Imperial Milk Stout. Had a variant at the brewpub with coconut that was also very tasty.
