A traditional, strong wheat beer with a beautiful Marzen-color. A well balanced drinking experience, for the winter season. We recommend to drink it only at home...

Bottle, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. ABV was 7%. Deep golden colour, big white head. Lovely and intense aroma of cloves and very ripe bananas. The flavour is yeasty and relatively sweet with notes of cloves, some hops in the finish.

Really quite the suprise of a beer. I never really know what to expect with these Hopf beers. Some are really nice, while others are a let down. This was really enjoyable. An aroma cloves, banana, apples, and yeast. Hell, there even seemed to be a light, subtle chocolate note too. Flavor is easy as hell to drink and drink lots of it. Cloves and bananas abound in this beer, with a light brown sugariness to it. Easy drinking, and easy to enjoy. No noticeable 7% anywhere.

Medium gold brown color. Large head. Aroma is spicy apples and some malt. A medium bodied weizen bock. Spicy and fruity, apples, banana and cloves. Light and refreshing. Malts and hops are mild. Not as spicy as a lot of weizen bocks. Hides the 7% alcohol very well. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is soft, full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Cloudy orange colour. Aroma is dominated by cloves, then some bubblegum. Taste is mostly cloves and bubblegum (also fresh yeast and nicely acidic), with a cloves and bubblegum finish. Luckily I’m a cloves and bubblegum fan; very good.
