Haunting in its subtle complexity, this tempting wheat beer is alive with wild, fruity flavors and deep, spicy aromas. As bold and fleeting as a harvest moon, this dark bock beer makes for the perfect Autumnal brew. Pours a murky orange amberish body with a foamy tan head that settles to a thin film on top of the beer. Ringed lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of wheat, bread, booze, caramel, banana, earth, and spice aromas. Taste is much the same with caramel, banana, and spice flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer, heavy wheat beer with some belgian and almost barleywine like attributes.

An unfiltered heavy wheat beer. Has a cloudy amberish appearance. Smell has some tart fruit, wheat, yeast....a little piney. Mouthfeel is weighed down a little by the unfiltration and yeast. I messed up slightly on the pour so had to wait for it to settle. Not the best Weizenbock out there, but a good representation nonetheless. Only tried a single first to sample, but this is something I would get again.

$3 pints of this during happy hour at the Alchemy, fantastic freakin' beer. I had 3 of these and had to get out of there ASAP! Pours a bright mahogany, nice finger sized head every time. Lots of bubble action. Aroma is sweet, boozey, caramel and mayeb some nutmeg? Taste is incredible. A little too good. Barleywine-esque with that bright red fruit, caramel hot alcohol touch. I hope this beer stays on tap forever, it was awesome.

A murky reddish brown colored beer. A big frothy textured white head rises above. Some hang time. A thick soapy ringlet and clouds atop the body are left behind. Light clves and sweet sugary malt in the nose. This is more pronounced in the tasting. Throw bananas in the mix and medium to medium full bodied, well carbonated (bubbles on the tongue) and this one is not just interesting, it is good. Gotta go back for another and another.

another solid brew from Victory. the aroma and flavor are both very pleasant and complex. fruity yeast and spices and wheat. the only thing lacking is the feel, which was a little highly carbonated at first, and a touch watery at the end. otherwise, they nail the style.

Amber-bronze color with steady and tight carbonation, a 3/4" light tan head and great lacing. Musty dank fruit aromas with clove and banana coupled by a yeast and wheat scent. Medium bodied, sweet and gritty with a touch of heat. Malty, sugary rolls with maple and spicy wheat. Dry aftertaste. Fermented plums and raisins with bananas.

Pours a dusky, semi-transparent brownish copper. Head was thin, but that was probably an artifact of how it was poured. Spicy, wheaty, slightly yeasty aroma is appealing. Wheaty and spicy flavor has hints of caramel. Texture is lively and tingly, making this pleasant to drink.

Poured a deep amber looking beer that is clearly not filtered with a good size head with good retention. Aroma is light roasted malt with some cloves/cinnamon. Taste is quite enjoyable with the roasted aspect mixing quiet well with the spicy (cinnamon?) and banana taste. Some bitterness can also be noticed at the end with a medium to full body.

Bottled (2005 vintage). Hazy amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, hops, raisins, alcohol and some hints of malts. Flavour is alcohol, hops, grass and some caramel & raisins. Pleasant.

I'm not a big fan of tjis beer. It was a cloudy golden orange in color. The aroma is orange as well as the taste, but I found it to taste kind of "off". I might have gotten a skunk bottle as I got it in the end of december
