Second Oktoberfest from PfoxyJohn this year; second bier of our tasting. Lighter golden pour, adequate white head, some lacing. Light malt sweetness meets adequate hops balance in this big bottle. Nice and easy, a bit underwhelming compared to some other stellar Oktoberfests on this evening; still very drinkable. Thank you John.

An orange sunshine in color with a three fingered fluffy textured, white head rising above. There's some hang time. It settles into a clingly fim and nice thick ringlet. Some grassiness in the nose. But the bready malt dominates in the tasting. Disappointing, I would have liked a little more of that hop presence. Light, crisp and refreshing.

Not what I expected in an octoberfest, did someone get some saison yeast in this one. Dry and crisp, with a sharp aftertaste. I usually expect a little more bready flavor from an octoberfest. Not this one. If you have a friend who likes a dry crisp beer, have them try this one.

Bought a four pack of this, which is pretty new to the area. But not new to me. Pours a bright clear copper colour. Aroma is fresh and bready, with caramel, hops and herbal notes. Taste is clean, malty and rich. Perfect balance of hops and malts.
