The odd thing about this amber is is the finishing mouthfeel. Think drink bitter wax. This one definitely coats your tongue then makes it numb, bitter and the waxy feeling remains for several minutes. Think of bugs bunny painting the tasmanian devil's tongue. Otherwise, malts are good and flavor is better than average, just not quite what I think of in an amber.

Sweet caramel aroma, but pours a bland dark amber, perhaps a bit cloudy. The head dissipates quickly, although a thin layer remains to produce minimal lacing. The mouthfeel is malty and creamy with a mix of caramel and a hint of chocolate. Mouthfeel and flavor are almost reminiscent of a Scotch Ale.

Looks very thin and cloudy, the head is nice though. Smell is fruity and floral. Mouthfeel is about as thin as the appearance but the flavor isn't bad, very mild chocolate with just a hint of hops.

Poured a nice dark amber color with a frothy head. It had a mild aroma and a sweet malty flavor with a touch of grain flavor. Went down nice and smooth.

This brew had a nice, deep amber colour. It had a soft caramel undertone with a malted mouthfeel. Very light as far as abv goes, but a nice touch of hops in the finish.
