Pours a caramel color. Smell is sweet and malty. Taste is a bit off, musty, unusual, not so good. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is not that good of a beer.

Decent... nothing to write home about. Clear amber color with a medium foamy head... no hops present, but a maltiness that was just a little overbearing... no complexity. Rather bland.

i just wasn't getting the same thing as the previous three...light bodied AND a tad watery. no hop balance at all, just some nutty toasted malt. perfect example of what i's expect of a decent macro attempt at an amber, but not good from a micro. passable.

Thanks Dansting, Timmy and Caddylac for this delicous beer. Poured a clear amber with a pretty large white head. Instant smoke hits the nose, which was pretty suprising. Super toasty and creamy on the palate. soft semi sweet caramel undertones, but it's hard to ignore the smokinessof this brew. Thanks guys!

Pours medium brown with great clarity and a tight, lasting head. Aroma features light malt notes and a hint of caramel. The flavor is malty; clean and round with hint of roasted malt and earth. Light bodied, but not at all watery, with proper carbonation and a creamy swallow. A huge thanks to our KC friends for this donated growler. I can't believe we are the first ones to review it.

Sampled from growler, thanks to Dansting, Timmy and Caddylac! Pours clear amber with a creamy, light tan head and remarkable lacing. Subtle toasted malt aroma. I'm not catching much of the advertised piney aroma. The flavor is much more bold that the aroma would foreshadow. Lots of lightly toasted malt with a dash of higher kilned caramel malts. Balanced, smooth and easy to drink. A fine example of the style.
