Very sweet candyish vanilla aroma.
Amber orange with some off white head.
Candy sweet, buttered toast, peppery spice.
Light syrup mouthfeel.
I was glad to be able to try this, but I can’t help but to think that it is well past it prime.

Poured a very cloudy orange color with okay head good lacing. Aroma was of citrus and very peppery. Flavor was stronger citrus then i expected and a sour flavor with i am unsure about.

Murky mud orange color with a good initial head, very nice lacing, concave up wavy rings. The aroma was peppery, some citrus, some caramel. The flavor was citrus, sour caramel (many a HW beer does this), brown sugar, pepper. Mouthfeel was thin to moderate. Thanks to Eric for this opportunity!

08.06.05 Tap @ brewery. Golden apple juice color, lightly hazed, little head. It looks a little undercarbonated still, but that will surely change with the 750s I’ve got. Spiced indeed, this thing is a wallop of savory surprises. Lots of clove, something like lavender, and an overdose of licorice. Lingering liquor slickness and a tongue-numbing spice quality, like when you put too much ginger in your stir fry..I think I like that. Gooood, tasty brew, but needs some mellowing.

Hazy amber with a decent head. Mandarin orange, fruity aroma. Tingles. There’s a slight caramel in the malt. This is sweeter than expected.

A murky orange appearance. A very warming beer than seems to have more alcohol in it than it really does. A big coriander and lime aroma. The flavor consisted of orange peels, caramel, some blend of spices. Its not bad in small quanities.

Poured a hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of barnyard, caramel malt, lots of spices, and citrus fruits. Taste of light caramel malt, lemongrass, tons of spices, most notably coriander, with a green hoppy finish. More hoppy than the hoppy saison, but not up to the dark or the golden.
