There are subtle but unmistakable signs...The first hint of a chili in the air. The first few leaves that start to turn. The first day at the brewery when everyone shows up in flannel. That announces the arrival of Fall.

Pours clear copper with a thick beige head. Aroma yields earthy, toasted malt, spicy and subtle woody notes. An a hint of wet fallen leaves - a snootful of autumn. Flavor delivers toasted malt, earthy, clove, woody hop and slight citrus tones. Texture offers smooth, fairly firm body and perky fizz. A great beer to welcome Fall.

This seemed borderline macro. Quality could be better...as in balance, feel, flavor, etc. Could use some more malt and hops. Ambers are hit and miss for me. Drinkable for late summer/early fall. Not quite a miss, but not one I'm really looking for again.
