Your favorite summer pastime is back, so pack up your sunblock, your tent, camping chairs, and s’mores fixing's. The sun-kissed days on the dock and starlit evenings around the campfire await you at Camp Wannamango. This pale ale brewed with mango begins with a subtle tropical aroma of passion fruit and mango. Golden-copper in color, it has a light body, slight hop bitterness, and malty sweetness, and finishes with a kiss of mango.

Pours clear topaz with a thick and frothy eggshell head. Aroma delivers mango - sweet, serious mango - plus raw malt and a hint of hops. Flavor features more malt and hops and less mango, but still very fruity. Fruit sweetness still reigns, while subtle hop bitterness offers a counter-note. Texture presents firm, smooth body and fair fizz. Camp out!

This is good spring/summer seasonal. Has that typical Harpoon, northeast pale ale feel, with a decent amount of mango to balance out. Adds some sweet and tartness. A lot of the mango beers coming out are wheats. I think this works out better with a pale ale. Sampled a single to start, but may get a 6 of it one day.

Part of their Summer Vacation mixed pack, purchased in Vermont. Pours a light clean amber colour with a warm cap, good retention and some foamy lace. Tropical fruit aromas with the sweet mango giving apricot notes. The taste has the same fruit notes, but less sweet and strong, blended with the hops of a Pale Ale. Still, gets a little rich in the end. For those who like the St-Ambroise Apricot... even though this is mango.
