Brewed on 12/12/12 Dry Hopped on 12/21/12 An Imperial Black IPA that is big and black, loaded with a wonderful array of aroma's that consist of coffee, chocolate, roasted malt, citrus, pine and more. Much the same in the taste while finishing very dry and deliciously bitter.

On tap at Arrow and Loon. Pours very little head and has a very dark amber appearance. Sticky lacing all around. Aromas are quite yeasty and some citrus and floral hop notes. Flavours are pretty hoppy, floral and herbal type hops, mild spices and resiny hop notes. Some malty hints and coffee hints as well. Slick and fairly smooth mouthfeel. Mild warming sensation.

The beer poured a coca-cola black with a bubble light brown head. Aroma is citrusy hops and some caramel malt. The grapefruit essence dominated everything else. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is grapefuit, nuts, and caramel.
