A perfect balance of sweet modified malts and with a nice hop profile which combines to give Red Tail Ale a wonderful refreshing taste and a slightly dry finish. Red Tail is perfect with barbecue foods or on its own.

Dark amber with very small non lasting head. Over ripe fruit and wet wool sock aroma. Tastes like a brown ale gone bad. Good thing about this beer is I only bought one.

Can from the LCBO. Pours a clear caramel-amber colour with a light beige head that is small, lasting a tad, but not much with a tiny creamy ring. Aromas of nutty malts with caramel, fruitiness and maybe some weird hops. The taste is even nuttier, less fruity with notes of wood and mild different hops again. Really not my thing. A bad mix of a Nut Brown and Amber Ale with weird ingredients.
