The beer poured a very hazy golden colour with orangy highlights and a generous white head. The aroma is wheat malt, citrus, and banana. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is wheat and citrus.

At Schneider tap take-over with Douberd. Found this the best Schneider that evening, overall. Lasting creamy foam head, strong grass aroma and taste. Loved it. (Velp 201502)

Pours with thick foam head. Smells of clean wheat and spice. Taste is more wheat and lots of cloves. Some bananas and apples on the finish. A good beer but a little too thick and complex for a wheat beer IMHO.

Did a Schneider tasting over the weekend and this was my least favourite, but it was also the last and it was hard to live up to the others. Colour - light golden brown, with a foamy off-white head. Aroma - wheat malt, spice, citrus and yeast. Mouthfeel - medium bodied. Flavour - nicely balanced by the sweetness of the wheat and the citrusy bitterness. Overall - excellent.

Tried this one last night, I have seen it several times in the past but had not picked it up until now. A 'mid' murky orange body, with a fizzy cap that left some ok lace. Aromas of banana, clove, spices, and even some apple, made it kinda interesting. Flavor was about the same as the flavor, and it had a nice finish. Overall a very nice surprise, glad that I finally tried it.

Picked up a few bottles in Toronto recently and should have picked up a few more. It pours a cloudy orange-gold colour with a tan coloured head. The aroma is wheat malt, some clove, banana, and weak floral hops. The flavour is nicely balanced between the malt, hops, and spices. A great beer.

Pours a wheat-like colour with a small head that disappears quickly. Very similar taste to an average weizen, but a little more bitter. Nice and refreshing, but lacks the body of the original schneider weisse. Disguises its alcohol very well indeed, but I feel it lacks some flavour.

Second Schneider beer tasted tonight, and purchased at the LCBO. Pours a light hazy golden colour with a big white creamy head that stays a long time and gives some soapy lacing. Mild banana nose with some good yeast and notes of bubblegum. Watery crisp mouthfeel and medium-light bodied. The taste is pretty mild, with some wheat grain and light citrus. Organic is written on front label, but seems quite tame for such a brew. Overall, pretty refreshing and a nice mild brew for summer.

not quite up to par with the regular weisse (possibly the best out there) or the brooklyner hopfenweisse, but this was a solid, slightly hoppy, bubble gummy wheat beer nonetheless. i'd choose the standard over this, but glad i tried it.

500 ml bottle, as Schneider Weisse Tap 4 Mein Grünes (new name), courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Brewed with organic ingredients. ABV is 6.2%. Hazy brownish golden colour, big head, slightly off-white. Strong and lovely aroma of ripe bananas and cloves. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is reasonably malty for a hefeweizen, with distinct notes of cloves. Very moderate hops. The alcohol is well hidden. Good beer.

A murky orange amber colored beer. A small, foamy textured off white head rises above. Settles fairly quickly into a thin soapy bubbled ringlet. The aroma is yeast, banana and cloves. The body medium and creamy. Sparkling carbonation. Yeast, wheat, bananas and cloves are in the flavors. Cloves most dominate. Drinkable.
