Enjoyed at the Gahan House in Halifax. Pours a real dark colour, almost black with a creamy-bubbly mocha head, good retention and decent lacing. Roasted malt aromas with hints of chocolate and light coffee. Sweet tasting over the burnt malt with the touch of chocolate and coffee. A pretty refreshing for a stout. Sweet stout, but not as rich as their whiskey maple porter... so can drink more.
