Our Pale Ale is flavourful, dry and sessionable – made with a medley of three different hops for a punch of citrus. Full of stone-fruit flavours but not too bitter. What’s in the name? Pedalling his bike around town with his trusty chicken abroad, the “Chicken Man” as he was known, has become iconic to the residents of Georgetown. Although his identity is uncertain and his whereabouts unknown, his legend lives on. Make a trip down to the brewery and ask the locals to tell tales of how they remember him…or simply enjoy our Pale Ale to celebrate this eccentric and well-loved character of Georgetown.

The beer poured a translucent gold with a heck of a lot of effervescence and a fully frothy head, The aroma was tropical fruit, bready grains, light pine, and citrus zest. The mouthfeel was medium bodied but the beer was over carbonated. The flavour was grainy malt, some tangy citrus notes, and finished off with a nice hop bite. -

Tall can from the Beer Store. Pours a massive frothy off-white head and has a slightly hazy pale golden appearance. Big thick foamy lacing. Lively carbonation. Aromas of grassy and piney hops, herbal and yeasty notes. Flavours are mild citrusy and grassy hops, subtle yeasty hints. Some pine and herbal notes as well. Drying mouthfeel with a bit of bitterness in the finish.

Clean golden colour with a big frothy warm cap, great retention and some nice thick creamy, wavy lacing. Cereal grain aromas with some caramel malts as well. Hops are quite mild. Pretty much the same for the taste with big cereal grains with the caramel malts, but the hops are a little more in the mix. Decent dryness in the finish to cut the richness of the sweeter malts. Reminds me of an old school Pale Ale with lots of graininess.
