The way we see it, brewing a great Pale Ale is a lot like living a great life. It’s all about finding the perfect balance. Between work and play, art and commerce, and yes, hops and barley. Dial in each flavor and nuance just right, and it’s a beautiful thing. Our Pale Ale has a fresh, hoppy aroma that comes from two (top secret) Northwest hop varieties, while two-row Pale and Crystal malt give it a mild sweetness that finishes clean and crisp. Feeling out of whack? Put on some music, crack a Pale Ale, and readjust your balance.

Very drinkable with a very pleasant aroma...its a great widely available beer that you can enjoy and introduce to newbies to pique their interest in better beers. More six/twelve packs of this will end up in my fridge.

Sampled this at the Pub. Pours pale gold color with a nice white head which recess to a thin lace. The aroma is sweet citric notes with some malty sweetness and a little orange. The taste is extremely crisp and clean. Sweet with some semi-sweet caramel underlying. Also there are some perfumes and citric hop combine and make for a dry finish. The mouthfeel is high carbonation with an incredible balance and great complimentary flavors. A really good american pale ale with good flavor.

I picked this beer up a six-pack from the Salem Kroger. This beer is really an average pale ale on every level. I tried their IPA a few weeks back and wasn't impressed. I thought the APA would be better but it really wasn't great. I'll probably try a few more offerings from Full Sail before I write-it off completely. Maybe IPAs/pale ales aren't their best offering.

Had this at the brewery in Hood River last weekend. Tons of lacing on this beer with a deep golden color. Unfortunately that's where the good ends. The aroma is pretty weak to the point that I can't get much out if it at all. Pretty creamy but with a decent hop roughness. Light medium body. Flavor is lightly hoppy and malty. Nothing notable in this beer.

A nice deep amber colored beer. A moderate frothy textured white head rises above. Settles fairly quickly leaving a light dusting of film aside the glass and thin soapy ringlet atop the body. A light malty aroma is present. Light, smooth and generously carbonated. Big grassy, citric hop presence, not in the nose are present in the tasting. Enough flavor to make this pretty good.

It pours a copper color with dissipated light-tan head and some thick lacing areas. A bready/yeasty aroma of caramel malts, hops, lime/citrus, light toffee, and some spiciness. The mouthfeel is smooth, rich, and full-bodied. Flavors of caramel malts, bread and yeast, hops, pine, grapefruit, light toffee, and spiciness. Very smooth and enjoyable!

A worthy Pale Ale, but nothing stellar. A nicely balanced pale ale between the hops and malts. Little pine - lotta grapefruit. Nice floral bouquet. Poured a little lighter than I would have imagined or than it tastes.

Overall Pale Ales dont impress me. But this one is a little more hops than most, with a touch of fruit. The hops and malts are mixed well together, making it well balanced. The mouth feel is creamy and light. A VERY drinkable pale ale. Even for those who dont care for them that much.

This is a golden-amber color and pours with hardly any head at all. The aroma is fruity and floral with a dash of caramel. There's nothing too exciting with this one but it works as a session beer and is pretty solid and easy drinking. Some sweet caramel and fruity flavors with an easy going bitter hoppy finish. Nicely balanced. I'd have it again and enjoyed the bottle I had.

better than average hoppy, refreshing pale ale, but nothing that REALLY stands out within the style. a good enough beer if it's on sale, but nothing great.

Color is a fairly typical orange-golden clear amber with a bit of a white head. Aroma is fairly strong and malty, and surprisingly hoppy. Flavor is not complex but still pleasing, mainly malty with some hops and a little bitterness. Texture is tingly and smooth, going down nicely. Not spectacular, but rather pleasant.
