This mahogany red beer is a beautiful marriage of malt and hops. Elegantly balanced, notes of caramel, toffee, and toasted grains are complemented by bright, citrusy and tropical American hop character with a smooth finish. The states of Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Utah are absolute favourites for winter road tripping. We’ve spent many long and challenging days inching through blizzards in Yellowstone and on the icy passes of Wyoming to find inspiration in nature, trek past buffalo in the wilderness and ski on some of the worlds best pow. Long are tiring in the mountains and this red style gives the right combination malt and hops. The Flatirons are a rock formation in Colorado which symbolise those adventures, and the beer that rewarded them.

Oct. 2019: On tap at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger, as Fourpure Flatiron American Red. Reddish amber colour, moderate head, slightly off-white. Aroma of amber malts and red berries. Fruity flavour of hops and red berries, not too sweet, nice and well balanced bitterness.
