A hazy amber colored beer with a big foamy textured white head rising above. There was good hang time on it. A thick ringlet and splotches of film are left behind. Light piney and floral nose. That profile adds some citric hops and light sweet bread malt. Like all IPAs refreshing in a light-medium, crisp body.

A 6.2% ABV IPA that tastes great. A hazy golden orange pour with a small off-white creamy head. The aroma is a nice balance between pine and citrusy hops, and some sweet chewy malt. The flavour is a nice balance as well, with a great citrusy flavour which gives way to nice malty backbone.

A good, value-priced IPA that I would pick up again. Amber pour with a good floral and citrus aroma (maybe some lemon and orange in there). Taste is bitter as expected but not enough to leave your taste buds in tatters.

Aroma is fairly strong, hoppy and just a little lemony with an evergreen undertone. It pours a clear, bubbly, orange amber with a fairly thick beige head. Flavor is quite hoppy and only slightly bitter with citrus and evergreen hints and just a touch of malt. Texture is fizzy, edgy and tingly, leaving a hoppy and slightly sweet finish.

This is a good IPA, better than average I'd say. Is slightly lacking across the board compared to some top line IPAs, but besides that has good overall flavor and quality. Has the typical orange-gold to copper appearance, not the weak looking pale yellow IPA. Nice malty and hoppy taste....grapefruit and pine. Received as a gift, but this is something that I would buy if the price is right.

Nice reddish-copper color and pours with a thick khacki head. Good lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and a bit floral. Hops are grapefruit and resin, a bit floral tasting, with caramel toasty malt definitely playing a major role. Hops aren’t quite sharp enough to compete with the big boys in this category but this beer is quite good.

A big and malty, full bodied IPA with a tantalizing bitterness. Burnt copper body with amber shades. Bubbly/filmy white head and really heavy lacing. Scents of caramel, nuts, fruits and flowers hover above the glass. A hint of soap is present. Calm aroma for the style, but It is inviting. Thick and creamy body with a bitterness hanging out in the background followed by a residual sweetness. Definitely a malt forward IPA (not that there's anything wrong with that) packed with fruity citrus hops. Flowers and evergreen notes pushed around by bread and nut malt flavors. A tangy sweetness rounds it out. Could almost consider this a robust APA, but either way it works for me.

This beer is pretty well carbonated, as fairly soft pour easily produces a three-finger thick, light tan colored head in my 25cl tulip glass. The head is nice and dense, it leaves lots of lacing and has quite a bit of staying power to it. The beer is a reddish amber color that shows a lightly hazed, deep copper, amber stained color when held up to the light. The nose smells of grapefruit citrus and pine-like hop notes as well as with a crystal malt driven caramel and toasted note towards the finish. There is also a cracker like malt aromatic that runs throughout the aroma; there is actually quite a bit of malt character here biscuit notes as well as a characteristic maltiness that captures the essence of freshly crushed malt. The hops, that were so prevalent at first, do not completely hide behind the malt though; sweet citrus zest aromas remain noticeable and an herbal note provides a bit of spice in the middle.
Lightly sweet with lots of herbal hop notes that morph to pine as this beer flows across the tongue. Each sip is lightly influenced by a ruby-red-grapefruit like citrus character. This has a nice biting hop bitterness running throughout and this even lingers on the tongue a bit in the finish. The ample malt presence continues in the flavor; there is a soft, caramelized, malt sweetness that anchors a lot of the hop flavors, there is also lots of toasty grain notes (reminiscent of biscuit-like malt). As the beer warms the caramelized crystal malt notes get to be a bit much, this really could use a substantial boos in hop character.
A very malt balanced IPA at this point; luckily the malt character is nicely fresh and vibrant, though it can still be a bit distracting from what should be a beer all about the hop. Perhaps this is a little older than it should be and I would definitely like to try a fresh sample of this beer, though this can't be that old. Still this is quite tasty.

Bottle from BeerandBlues2 (I think). Poured a full amber-red color, nice off-white peachy colored head, strong lacing. The aroma was floral and citrus hops, strong caramel malts. The flavor was strong caramel and lemony-fruity malts, lots of bitter floral hops, some citrus hopping action. Full mouthfeel, heavier side of an IPA. Not my favorite twist on the style, but competent.

Golden copper color, smallish head, little lace. The aroma is of sweet malt and overripe fruit(?). No, the aroma was teabag. The flavor in this one is grapefruit rinds and teabags soaked in caramel juice. Teabag becomes stronger and stronger as it warmed. I liked it.
