I knew this was either an alt or something similar. Fairly malty and caramely, semi sweet. Nice tastes initially. But sort of flat and lacking body. Overall pretty dissapointing.

Fordham Copperhead Ale from the East Coast pours out a light clear copper color, has a bit hint of metallic apples flavor with a slight biscuit. Smooth and tasty.

Pours a really nice coppery color with a medium body, nice maltiness and very little hoppiness. Slight, faint head, but really nice lacing. Flavor is the paramount component of this respectable brew.

It pours out of the bottle a nice coppery-amber with a fairly thick light tan head. Aroma is rather weak and barely noticeable. Flavor, fortunately, is better - not great, but pleasingly malty and yeasty with a nice tang to it. Texture is smooth, tingly, and just a teensy watery. Though it leaves something to be desired, it is worth a try.

Bottle: Poured a deep clear copper color beer with a nice foamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of light caramel malt is bit weak. Taste is dominated by some light caramel malt and some unrefined grain or adjunct that is not too pleasant. Body is a bit light with some good carbonation. I was under the impression that this was an amber ale until I check on the website and noticed that this was an attempt at an Altbier – definitely off-style but fortunately I don’t rate to style .

Got this as a gift from Canandaigua75 poured a nice translucent copper. The aroma was very mild. I had a hard time detecting much aroma at all. The flavor was well balanced and satisfying the beer had a clean flavor with a touch of hoopy bitterness. It went well with the fish fry I was having.

This brew had a very beautiful appearance in the glass....an inviting copper color with a thick, creamy head. The aroma was a bit nondescript, but the taste was very enjoyable. There was a hint of bitterness that didn't take away from the overall enjoyment, though.

Copper gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty, sweet and a touch of cereal. A medium bodied Alt. Malts are nutty and fairly sweet. Hops are a touch spicy and only a little bitter. A mild flavored alt. A little thin perhaps. Crisp and clean tasting. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

This one looked nice with a decent head and a nice copper brown color. But, from the first to last sip, it was lacking flavor (watered down) and had a bitterness that wasn't pleasing. Actually tasted similar to a 2-3 yr old Bass from a bottle that I drank a year or so ago: not so good.

Clear copper color with a fluffy head that dissapeared pretty quickly, leaving behind nice lacing all around. Malty aroma with esters and dust. Taste is sweet caramel and roasted malts and some buscuits flavor. The taste is also dusty with some butterscotch. Im no fan of Altbiers and this cannot be a good one.
