I had Flying Fish Coffee Porter on tap at the Grey Lodge. It poured a medium black color with brown hues on the edges. It had a thin tan head that managed to leave some lacing. It had a strong coffee aroma. The taste was nice with notes of coffee, chocolate...excellent.

09.30.05 GABF They called it Expresso Porter. Aggressive coffee and earth nose. Very mild coffee flavor, more lingering peat smoke and a chemical sort of chocolate presence. Had a couple extra samples because I really wanted to like it. Gets a touch sour toward end where I’d have preferred some bitterness from the roast. Very creamy palate.

Surprised by this beer. The first taste was a little bitter. Has a very malty taste with a hint of chocolate and funky coffee taste. Overall wasn't a bad beer.

On tap at Andy's Corner Bar. Nice deep dark brown in color with a nice tan head. Roasty chocolatety flavor and aroma. Very roasty aroma. Hints of caramel and chocolate. Enjoyable beer.

Poured black, with a reddish hue and some off white head with nice lacing. Roasted malt and barley aroma. Sweet chocolate and a funky coffee taste with a creamy mouthfeel, this was nice to drink at 8am!
