330 ml bottle. Poured in the original Fleurac "Bolleke" goblet an unfiltered dark brown-red colored ale with a one finger tan creamy foamy head that had a very long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is strong toasted malts, darke ripe fruits, raisins, vinous notes, floral hops. The flavour is rich, toasted malts, smoke, spicy, licorice, a touch of pepper, dark chocolate, floral hops, mountain earthy bitter herbs. The mouthfeel is creamy, crispy, fizzy and quite smooth. This medium to full bodied ale has a lingering quite aciditic fruity finish. A beautiful surprise from a tiny brewery in the Cantal, an area of France better known for its cheeses specialities.
