A smooth-drinking, late-winter wonder. We’ve crafted this English-styled stout using roasted malts and a healthy dose of lactose sugar to produce a creamy-rich beer with hints of roasted chocolate.

12oz bottle. Pours dark brown with a small off-white head that goes to a thin collar that leaves a little lacing.
The aroma is sweet lactic chocolate malts with a little roast.
The flavor is sweet, grainy, lactic, chocolate and vanilla with a little acidic roast. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent sweet stout - a little too much on the sweet side for me. -

Again, a big thanks to SledgeJr for treating me to this, a second round at the Crescent Moon. Pours a nice dark brown-black color, one full finger of an off-white head. Aroma was malty chocolate, roast, some ash? Flavor was chocolate, roasted malts, smoke/ash, and a touch of chalkiness. The mouthfeel was only moderate for the style. Another decent NE production. Thanks, Todd!
