330 ml swing-top bottle. Poured in the original Ellezelloise tulip glass an unfiltered hazy mid-brown coloured B.S.A. with a generous two fingers beige soapy foamy head that had a long retention and tons of micro bubbles. Soft carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is toasted malts, yeast, caramel, brown sugar, notes of spices, orange peels. The flavour is toasted malts, toffee, caramel and a herbal hoppy bitternes. The mouthfeel is sweety and a bit sticky. This medium bodied B.S.A. has a dry sticky and sweety finish. Surely not the most impressive but more an averaging B.S.A.

330 ml swingtop bottle, thanks to Beer2000. ABV is 8.5%. The beer starts gushing out of the bottle when opened. Murky brown colour, big to moderate off-white head. Strong aroma of marmalade, caramel, alcohol and over-ripe fruits and berries. The flavour is rich and malty, also notes of caramel and ripe dark fruits, hints of oak, spices and alcohol. A moderate hoppy and spicy bitterness in the finish. Nice.

thanks to 'da skunk' for this one. 330ml swing top bottle It pours an opaque dark gold color with a large head. The flavor is very apple cider sweet w/ some winey notes and a tangy finish.

Hazy brownish amber colour, sediments floating around, small white head. Aroma is sweet and plummy. Flavour is yeasty, malty and spicy. Sweet caramellish aftertaste with a sting of alcohol.

330ml. swing top bottle. Medium amber color, slightly hazy. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, sweet and yeasty. A medium bodied Belgian Ale. Malts are fruity and sweet. Orange, banana and clove. Rather sweet, caramel malts, brown sugar and molasses. Lively carbonation. OK, but kind of boring… Touch of alcohol bite at the finish, other than that it’s well hidden. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy amber color ale with a super huge bubbly off-white head with average retention. Aroma is a mix of strong yeast and spices. Taste is also quite a wonderful mix of strong spices, yeast, and malt with a subtle sweet finish. Alcohol is very well hidden and body is full. Overall, this is an above average Belgian strong ale.

The beer was a deep amber color, with a thick rich head. It had a nice malt flavor that was balanced perfectly by the hops. Had a hint of smokiness to it.
