Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 7 | Mouthfeel: 9 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 9
750 ml fliptop bottle. Poured a clear old red copper or burgundy brown colored ale with a good one finger slightly beige creamy foamy head that had a long retention. Intense carbonation. Good lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, toffee, coffee and spices. The flavour is caramel grainy malts, spicy, licorice, fruity, ripe raisins, plums, nuts. The mouthfeel is creamy, slight crispy and very smooth. This medium bodied ale has a long malty finish. A very nice and tasting ale from a tiny ferm brewery, 30 miles away, westly from Paris.
