355 ml bottle, from Fakta, Denmark. BB date 30.05.2014. ABV is 5%. Amber colour, slightly hazy with some floaties. Moderate off-white head. Aroma of caramelized stale orange marmalade, basement and dust, a whiff of solvent. Soft mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. The flavour is mild with a slight fruitiness, the finish is drier and "dusty" with very moderate hops. Has apparently not had any benefit from cellaring, might rerate if I find a fresh bottle.

12 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy copper gold with a big fluffy white head that retains well and leaves little lacing.

The aroma is sweet biscuity caramel malt with a little apple.

The flavor is sweet biscuity caramel malt with a little earthy fruit and a light bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

    Overall, an OK malty pale.

I had this beer at Market Place in downtown Roanoke, VA on March 22, 2016. This was a particularly fun beer to have as I had it at the grand announcement of Deschutes opening its east coast operation in Roanoke! It was a GREAT time - I even drank a black butt porter with Governor Terry McAuliffe! An awesome event and a great brewery!

I had this one on tap at a steak house. It was light in color, average in body and the flavor was good. It was really an average tasting beer, and sessionable also.

Pours a dark coppery amber with a decent off-white head. Aroma is malty and fruity and has a surprising hoppy, evergreen overtone. Malty, hoppy flavor is somewhat fruity with a touch of fruit sweetness and just a hint of caramel. Fizzy, sassy texture leaves behind a nice tingle.

Another in the "Pick Your Own 6-Pack Sampler" from the local superstore. Clear copper color with a rocky light tan head. Citrus, floral and tempered hop aromas. Flavors are led by grapefruit and muted hops. Pleasant, dry, bitter finish. Not the usual hop bomb that I'm used to drinking. But this beer is a solid APA that is a good representation of the style. This beer could be a good starting point for someone who is new to the style.

Pours a light golden tan/brown, nice small foamy whitehead and tons of sticky lacing. The aroma is of pale ale malts, bready, citric hops, yeasty sugars, a little lemon note at the finish. The taste is much like the aroma, pale malts with a nice citric, lemon flavored hop bite makes up the flavor. A biscuity, bitter flavor mixed in with some light yeasty sugars. Grapefruit and a little pine also adds some flavor. Malts coat the tongue with bready/biscuit flavor. Palate gets some hops, sugars and a little more malts. Aftertaste is smooth, malty with some lemon and orange peel. The mouth feel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated.

Opaque dark yellow with off white lacing foam head. Aroma is little citrus, lot of hop. Taste nice bittersweet, with bitter aftertaste. (Salt Lake City 2013080

On tap @ Deschutes/ Portland. Deep amber orange pour, creamy head, some lacing. Nice clean citrus and slight floral hopped aroma and flavor, some lightly sweet malts. Clean, nicely bitter and very tasty.

Pours a cloudy orange with a big sudzy head. Not much aroma.taste is of hopps and a tad of orange peel. Mouthfeel is pretty nice but a tad watered down. Overall a pretty nice beer. Will try more from the brewer.
