Our Copper Beech Red Ale is named to remember the Copper Beech tree planted on the 100th anniversary of The Battle of Lundy’s Lane in 1914. Rooted in the battlefield of Lundy’s Lane, the Copper Beech tree at Drummond Hill Cemetery was a living memorial to freedom. Our Brewmaster taps into that same reverence to bestow daring to this fearless red ale.

Aroma: 7 | Appearance: 6 | Mouthfeel: 6 | Flavor: 7 | Overall: 7
Clean amber-copper colour with golden highlights, a light-beige head with an average stay and a fizzy, thin cap in the middle of the brew, from tiny bubble, livid carbonation. Toasted aromas with some nuttiness, caramel and malty-hay notes. The mouthfeel has a decent building, light dryness. The caramel malt is a base here in the flavours with a tad grassy-apple finish. Not a bad Red Ale, but lacking a little punch all-around.
