Bomber from BCLDB Nordel Crossing. A pour of the darkest ruby with a fluffy tan head, and lacing abounds. Aroma is reminiscent of an IPA, with some hops and pine, but no citrus, and overwhelming maltiness. Flavour was just too much malt and burnt coffee to the point of being unpleasant. Average mouthfeel and a malt bomb to finish. Why oh why did I buy this one? I'd long ago decided against this style and that opinion is reinforced with this beer.
