Our Western, American-style pale ale, hops from the Pacific Northwest provide the distinctive citrus and pine flavors. A German Ale Yeast Strain contributes a hint of spiciness. A malty finish balances this incredible, quaffable ale.

This is by far, my favorite beer by the General. It is hoppy, but not too much so, and has a great flavor.

Pint @ brewpub. Light amber color with a nice sized off white head. Aroma is alcohol on top of the bitter hops and sweet citrus flavors of tangerine and orange. Taste is nice and hoppy with some flavors of coriander, pepper, licorice, munich malts and caramel. I found even chocolate in there as well.

Cask... Poured a copper color with a small white head and light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus hops, malt, earthy and grassy as well. Taste was that of banana, citrus, caramel malt, and bubblegum. Reminded me on an English Bitter.

If you have never been to the General... get there and drink up... they have lots of good choices.
