750 ml swing-top bottle bought at the brewery. Poured in the original Le Comptoir du Malt glass a clear ruby brown coloured Amber Ale with a one finger beige foamy head that had a mid-sized retention and tons of micro bubbles. Sustained carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is roasted malts, soapy (!) and skunk (!). The flavour is sweet roasted malts, some hoppy notes and a great unpleasant sourish burn ! The mouthfeel is fizzy, sparkling and a strong sourish burning medicine. This light to medium bodied Ale has a lingering sour burning finish. Was the tasted bottle infected ? My answer is : No, it was not !!
