Purchased at a local IGA Extra. Pours a slight hazy deep amber colour with a creamy light-beige head, lasting a long time and giving some dirty foam lace. Hoppy nose with some caramel notes from the malt. Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel with just a tad of dryness. The taste is not too crazy on the hop (but still there), with decent malt with some burnt hints in the finish. A nice malty rye beer with good presence of hop.

Poured a huge frothy head, with a medium amber appearance. A hoppy aroma, piney/grainy as well. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Good lacing. Clear citrus flavours, maple, hops are quite distinct. A bit of spices come through, peppery. I find the hops well balanced, not overly strong but just fine. Very tasty and smooth. Very good!
