Very clear and kind of a dirty gold color, not what you'd expect from a pale ale. Aroma is more sweet malt than anything else. There is a good bitterness to the beer that counteracts the maltly aroma, but still, overall, not a remarkable beer.

maybe mine was old? i've some to expect great things from CW, and this beer was booooooring. just lifeless. definitely nothing offensive, but everything from the body to the aroma and flavor was understated.

Thank you Travis (Phishpond417)for this very nice surprise! Poured from the bottle and it had a very grassy aroma almost wheaty aroma. Not exactly a super hoppy beer but that's ok, cuz I totally dug this beer. It has this very nice earthy flavor filled brew. I can't thank Travis enough for this lovely gift.

Big thanks to pfoxyjohn for this bomber. Almost clear light amber yellow pour - looks almost like a lager - with a thick white fluffy head and drooping lacing throughout. Huge fruity aroma with mangoes, peaches, grapefruit in the big hops then sweet malts and sugar. Sweet tropical fruits up front then a nice hops bitter that lingers. This is one fine beer - many thanks to one of my Wisconsin Beer Mafia connections - Big John.

Had this one on tap yesterday, finally. Super tastey beer. Very unique. Bright hazey golden colour with a decent sized fluffhead. Aroma is instant hops. One of the most aromatic beers I've had in a long time. Super aromatic, fresh and fruity, lots of fruit in fact. Very tropical. TAste is really not that hoppy. As a matter of fact, there is quite a bit of noticeable candi sugar throughou this beer. Hops are present, but concealed well in the sweetness. IF you can picture a sticky fresh hop lightly covered in sugar. Very astringent, mouthfeel. Creamy. Really fantastic beer.
