Good pale ale with a decent appearance. Hoppier than most pale ales, quite earthy and pine flavoured. Caramel malt in the background. Average mouthfeel.

Pours a huge frothy white head and has a golden amber appearance. Dirty lacing. Lively carbonation. Aromas of citrus and floral hops. Nice flavours of oranges and citrus tang, light malts. Crisp and bitter hoppiness. Creamy mouthfeel. Nicely balanced hops and malts. Pretty good.

Part of their mixed 6-pack, summer sampler 2013 at the LCBO. The first time I had this pack, I thought this was their IPA, which I already had and had the same colour of can. After chugging them, I had to buy this pack again - which is no problem, as these are pretty good. Pours a golden-amber colour with a big frothy warm cap, great retention and foamy lace. Not completely filtered with tiny particles everywhere. Great citrus aromas of oranges, grapefruits and then, other tropical fruits. The hop is the main thing in the taste as well, just covering the grainy malt. Mildly dry finish, so a normal Pale Ale, but has everything needed here. Goes down very well.

Light bright honey brown sad head produced during pour that disappeared to a bubble ring very quickly. Stinky stinky malt kind of like a Carmel apple left behind your couch for a couple of months……. But not really that bad, and the normal Red Racer tomahawk hops are the most aggressive sent there is as always. Taste is watery and bitter. Has a leathery wood taste in the malts that almost go earthy but not really and of course west coast sweet peachy hops as the most potent flavor. Meh, even though this taste almost exactly like every other brew they make what really annoys me it’s still pretty good, but for some reason my least favorite.

good for the price, hovering just above a dollar a can. Citrus bitter, pretty shallow flavours all around, but thin, but a pretty standard IPA in all senses. Not some half assed brewed for the new beer drinker crowd. Decent, buy again for the price, not for the quality.

Can: Poured an amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of hops is pretty intense with bitter and citrus notes clearly identified. Taste is a great mix between some citrus and bitter hops with a good caramel malt backbone. Body is a bit thin for style with good carbonation. Well done and would stand well within some of the staple of the style.

Kept checking the label to see if this wasn't an IPA, it was that good. Nice amber colour, a mild aroma, and a great taste of hops and malt. Easy drinking mouthfeel with a bit of sweetness at the finish. A natural session beer.
