Our hugely popular Summer Ale exploded onto the scene just two short years ago. Light, yet flavorful, this brew complements seafood, steak or salad equally well. Balanced, with an aromatic hop finish, the Summer Ale brings sunshine to your stomach.

I wasn't really sure of what style this was until I read the American Pale Ale description. I'd say this fits more in the English Pale Ale category...or light marzen. Medium caramel malt and not really that much hops. Has a clear light brown appearance. This is decent for late summer/early fall beer. Has that New England beer feel. Would be a good pairing with fish and chips or something.

Bright golden colored beer with a moderate sized frothy texture, white head rising above. There's some hang time on the head. It settles with no lacing to speak of. Grassy, earthy profile, lighter in the nose. Very sessionable, clean finish drink.

A very nice summer ale. Sampled in Castine this summer and enjoyed greatly. A nice golden hue when poured is beautiful and cloudy. Taste is very nice and easy on the mouth.
