Hops with an American accent. Disarmingly drinkable.

Almost an ipa but light enough to not be one. What I love the most about this beer is the highly active bubbles. This one bubbles like its on high octane.

Not good beer...another example of Capital's efforts to appeal to the masses. Very grassy and sour, a little skunk that is sort of hidden by a decent hop content. Not worth trying again.

Bottle from phishpond via OktoberPhist: pours a light amber yellow with a smallish head that reduces to a white cap leaving some light lacing. Slight pine and grapefruit hops aroma with very slight apples and some weak bready malts. Taste is slightly hoppy with a bit of malt sweetness - nothing to write home about but not bad either. I enjoyed it with my Mexican dinner. Thanks Travis!

Bottled@Monks Café Sveavägen, Stockholm. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, slightly fruity and wooden as well as slightly herbal. Flavour is quite much the same. A rather dry pale ale which probably is near to it's best before by now...

i agree with phishpond's "weak on the hops" assertation. maybe i got an off batch, but this was one boring ass beer. my notes on this one say beer flavored water. not exactly what i look for in an apa.

Gold in color and crystal-clear with a thin white head. Distinct but reserved pine and flower nose. Medium-bodied, crisp and clean with decent hop flavor up front but not much in the way of a malt base to balance it.

Poured a nice clear golden color with a weak head. Aroma was strong in hops with floral notes. Flavor had a strong malt backbone with a touch of pine needles from the hops. Very enjoyable.

Pours an attractive orangeish colour with a small thin white head. Nice lacing, decent amount of citrus character but weak on the hops and a little unbalanced. Nice ale from Capital, normally a big fan of the brew. But this one needs a little work.
