A bright orange-amber colored beer with a big frothy textured off white head rising above. There's good hang time on that head. It settles into a moderate ringlet and persistent cap. Lots of biscuit malt in the nose. A bit more sweet caramel malt than I'd want. The hops just don't balance it enough. Full bodied and drinkable nonetheless.

a better oktoberfest with a bready characteristic (have you ever had dejah-dejah-dejah-dejah vu?) Sweet and malt with traditional hop flavoring. Good as an octoberfest as it will go down quick in large quanitities and if you finish a sixer by pouring it in a boot and drinking it til it splashes back in you face, you are sure to end up a beer corpse on a public parks lawn.

This is a corny brew. Can't say that I like it. Can't say that I don't.. No, I can say that. Pours orange and frothy. Thin. A little grain. Bad after taste. That's it.

This Oktoberfest, while not bad by any means was about average for the style. It poured a lighter shade of copper than most marzen styles with a quick lived off white head leaving no lacing.Had a nice flavor with light hints of caramel and honey. probably better on tap, but definitly worth a try.

Another Wisconsin winner courtesy of pfoxyjohn. Pours a clear amber with a foamy white head leaving nice lacing. Good carbonation. Aromas of slightly sweet toasted malts with a slight spiced fruitiness then an ample dose of hops. Taste is rich with a very good balance of toasted malts and hops - nice finish.

Wow, can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet, considering half-bbls of this have been a staple at our Oktoberfest celebrations the past few years. I LOVE this beer! I'd put it up against anything Bavaria has to offer. Pours a golden-orange color with a nice-sized creamy white head. Very fresh aroma of lightly-sweet toasted malt and biscuits. Great mouthfeel; smooth, full and round. Good malt foundation, with a little unexpected fruity-hop infiltration. The long, rolling finish reminds me that now that winter's nearly over, Oktoberfest can't be far off. Hey where will summer have gone?

This one poured a nice amber color with a firm head. It had a nice malty aroma with a firm malty flavor adn a nice touch of hops. It finshed off-dry. Not as good as it wamed up.

Tasted on tap. This marzen pours a medium brown color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is malty and sweet. A medium bodied marzen. The malts are caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy and floral. Nice balance. Good carbonation. Very drinkable, ya! Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is sweet.

A pretty decent marzen in my opinion. Pours a dark amber colour, with a medium sized head with great retention. sweet malty aromas with soft caramel, toffee and grain in the taste. Finishes very smooth.

Wow, I don't get the knocks by some of my pals on this one. Pours dirty amber color, nice head and great lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, toast. Flavor was sweet toasted caramel, some peppery spices and a decent hop finish...a nice blend of sweetness and toast. Rich and full mouthfeel. Well done.
