Cameron's Auburn Ale 5% ABV is our most awarded beer. Deliciously complex, this West Coast style ale uses an abundance of citrus, aromatic American hops. Named after its unique rich colour, this beer offers a full body that evokes a multitude of different flavors. Watch for the generous hop aroma, smooth maltiness, followed by a deep smooth, perfect compliment for red meat, fish or a spicy food. The beer pours a beautiful pale translucent red colour with a thin white head. The aroma is a little bit of hops and a little bit of fruit, plum like. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with mild carbonation. The flavour is hoppy with some malt, plums, and yeast tones.

When Cameron’s first started brewing, their trademark was the case of nine, and this was one of the first beers they brewed, and while it has since been eclipsed by their rye beers, it is still the most flavourful of the original beers. Citrusy hops and caramel malts are both melded together to give this beer a great aroma and flavour that still make it one of my favourites.

Pours an average size fizzy head and dissipates rather quickly. Has an amber appearance. Ok lacing. Mild roasted malt aromas, with hints of wheats, sweet and toffee malts as well. Has caramel and nutty malt flavours with some notes of earthy hops. Has a bit of a rusty like aftertaste. Slick drying sensation, slightly chalky. Average retention. Pretty good and easy to drink.

Beautiful coppery red colour with light tan head. Caramel aroma. Nicely sweet with a slightly bitter bite. Very pleasant and highly drinkable. Will definitely buy again!

Pours clear amber/copper red. Small tan head settles to a thin layer quickly leaving some lacing. Hops in the aroma. Nice well balanced flavour. Medium mouthfeel

This was the first Cameron's product I tried and it was a great product. The beer is a nice amber colour with a small head. The flavour is slightly sweet, and by slightly sweet I mean sweet enough to taste great, but not so sweet as to be sickening.

A decent Amber Ale. My first of the style so I cannot really compare it to anything. Decent mouthfeel with a bitterish caramel bite. Decent head and appereance.

Nothing overly impressive about this beer, nor the others from this brewery that Ive tried. A slight syropy note with minimal texture or aroma. Ok malt flavours that come out as an afterthought. There is both far better and far worse out there.

A good, not great amber ale. Very quenching/drinkable for an amber ale. Slight maple syrup notes mixed in with the malty nose. Coffe-ish flavors present in the finish. A bit thin perhaps. Head seemed a little short-lived as well.
