Pours a clean amber colour with a big frothy-creamy yellowish-beige head, good retention and lots of fluffy lacing. Carbonation is pretty active. Aromas of apples, caramel, nuts and alcohol. The taste is mild with watered down caramel malts. Even though quite lighter than the nose, it is less offensive (better balanced). Apples do come out in the finish, eventually, but not enough to save this brew. Not one I would buy again. Preferred Le Blond. I think.
