Aroma: 8 | Appearance: 8 | Mouthfeel: 8 | Flavor: 8 | Overall: 8
Fairly black colour with a mocha-coloured head, decent retention and lacing. This one has their typical choice-coconut found in many of their beers aromas, but much milder. Not your dessert punch-in-the-face. The taste is a little rich, sweeter than the nose. This is where the chocolate, coconut and vanilla shine more. Light bitterness comes through in the end. The mouthfeel has a nice mild tartiness and dry feel. This is quite a nice double milk stout that does not take off right away, but builds up slowly. Not as dessert beer as the others I had the same night, but a well-brewed and probably easier to enjoy a few of these.
