First 950ml can of one of their sweet stouts from this brewery. Been waiting so long to have these heavy, alcoholic beers at home with the GF. Real dark brown with no highlights, a mocha-coloured head, average retention and light lacing. Big chocolate nose with some mild maple syrup. The cacao is smooth and not too rich in the taste, blended with the syrup. Hops are nicely balanced to cut the oversweetness, and the vanilla, coconut softens the finish. Definitely not as rich as their 10% ABV. sweet stouts, but amazing as all of the ones I have had from this brewery.
