This copper-colored ale derives its name from the crushed rock aggregate which makes up three quarters of the mass of the dam. Small amounts of English chocolate and black malt are combined with Minnesota two-row brewers and roasted barley. We liberally hop this smooth-drinker with Washington Cascade and German Northern Brewer.

Sampled at the Brew's Best Beer Fest on my trip to Vegas, back in 2011. Copper amber colour and that is about all this one has. Smells like grain and poo. Taste watery and mildly soapy. My GF hefeweizen that she had at the same time, tasted much better. Must a been a bad batch.
