pours a orange body white medium sized, medium lacing and retention. The aroma is of pineapple and grapefruit hops. The taste follows the aroma along with a bit of peppery spiciness. Some bitterness but not a lot. The mouth feel is medium carbonation and body some lingering bitterness on the palette.

12oz bottle -
Aroma - citrusy, rose petals with some bready malts
Appearance - hazy amber body, 2-finger head, nice retention though little lacing
Mouthfeel - medium bodied, medium carbonation, lightly puckering
Flavor - malty, herbal hops, light vegetal notes and a touch of tea notes, like some crystal malt was overused maybe.
Overall - tasty enough beverage to give a recommendation on it but just barely. Will try at the brewery in Berkeley. -

An orange colored beer with a three fingered frothy textured off white head. There's was good hang time on the head. Settles into a decent ringlet. A faint nose. Bolder tasting of grassiness. Full bodied and very creamy.

Comes out of the bottle a clear, pale amber - well, it is a PALE ale, give it a break, you stoutie - with a very thick, fluffy and persistent ivory head. Malty aroma has strong yeasty and floral underpinnings. Flavor has a malty core supporting hoppy, floral and yeasty notes. Hop bitterness is fairly strong but far from overpowering. Texture is smooth, a tad thin and scarcely fizzy. Overall, though, a decent beer, refreshing on a hot day.
