Thanks to Lilihel for this growler. Pours a dark brown colour with a foamy beige head, average retention and some patchy lacing. Aromas of roasted malts and chocolate ones. Slightly creamy texture with a little dryness in the finish. Taste of roasted malts again, with notes of chocolate and molasses. Gets better as you drink it, so good to have a big one like this.

At the brewpub. Pours a small foamy brownish head. Has a dark brown appearance, almost pitch black. Ok lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, toffee, coffee notes. Has flavours of chocolates, notes of mild coffee, sweet malts. Quite milky for sure. Light medium bodied mouthfeel. Faint warming sensation. Pretty good stuff.
