The amber gets its color and malty richness from a combination of four barley malts. Willamette hops balance the flavor while enhancing the malty sweetness.

Taps semi-translucent caramel with a fair beige head. Aroma yields lightly toasted malt, caramel, and subtle fruity notes. Flavor delivers toasted malt, pomme and subtle tropical, and caramel tones. Texture delivers fair, smooth body and peppy fizz. Butt one down your face.

RAM Restaurant. Ruby in color, off-white foam head, only ring remaining. Sweet aroma and taste, only later on turning little bitter. Still OK beer. (Chicago 201510)

Draft @ Humperdinks, Dallas .. . smells like kids fruit juice .. . great head, no lacing .. . a bit to thin.. light fruit and grain .. . very little bitterness .. . The dream was over. Coming up, was the dream really over? Yes it was. Or was it?

the most boring beer in the six beer sampler. toffee malt is nice, but the hop presence is barely noticeable and there is little balance. no need to try again. pretty standard amber.

Sampled in Tacoma on 12-28-09. A decent offering by Big Horn for this type. Not too sweet as are some amber ales in my opinion. Nice, albeit small, head with good lacing. Mine was slightly warm as I sampled near the end of my session and the flavor, I think, was more complex than maybe it would have been when cooler. Nice.

Sampled at Humperdink's Brewpub in Arlington, TX. Poured a clear dark amber color with a slight white head. Aroma was weak and consisted of caramel and malt. Flavor was very sweet and had toffee in it. So-so beer.

This was fair enough of a brew. The malty aroma was nice but the taste was a bit overpowering. The dark brown appearance in the glass and the thick head were attractive.

This poured a nice looking dark amber color in the glass with just a little bit of lacing around the edges. There was a strong hoppy aroma as the beer was poured. The taste was strong as well but fine enough.

Deep red color, large head. Roasted malts, bitter hops. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is a little too bitter
