I agree with BeerHunter's review. The head was thin but there was plenty of lace. I didn't notice the caramel finish however there was a hint of vanilla with a sweet finish. Not bad.

Poured a deep amber with malty nose and flavor The head was small and faded fast. The brew was sweet from start to finish. The mouth feel wa medium with decent body a some lacing. It paired well with sharp chedder

This beer poured a clear copper color with a thin head. It had a pleasent caramel and nutty aroma. There was a noticeable "burnt sugar" flavor component on the palate which I found enjoyable. Touch of caramel on the finish and a taste of vanilla lingered.

Apples and pears are prime on the nose. Color like mr pibb soda, red iced tea. Not a bad deal especially for those who are on a budget. Oh, by the way, this beer is now called "Berghoff Rock River Red Ale"

Pours a light amber with a thin off-white head. The nose wafts is grass and fruit (white wine-like), and very bready. Mouthfeel is thin and and a little rough. Taste is bitter-sweet apple cider and biscuits. A final brief interplay of sweet malt and bitter hops hints at a long, smooth finish but this brew doesn't deliver.

A nice looking ale, a very noticeable grassy aroma, and biscuits. The mouthfeel is very light and it finishes very smoothly. A decent beer, but not sure why its so famous.

Pours a dark orange/amber, not really the red-brown color I was expecting. Short, white fluffy head, but not much retention. Smell of some malty sweetness, a bit bready, faint hops in the end. Tastes malty and a bit nutty. A touch of bitter finish. Well balanced with no one flavor overpowering any other. Pretty light bodied, keeps it easy to drink. Good, enjoyable, but not great.

Nice amber colour, nice off white head. I really didn't find much taste at all. I loved the colour and appearance but the beer is really not that good. Not a bad beer, not skunky, but no character either. Probably wouldn't buy it again.

Very good beer. Flaver is above average. Smell is very good, almost sweet. The aroma is also sweet, very unique. Mouth feel is smooth. Over all above average beer.
